Coming into this restaurant without expectations, I was impressed with the pizza and ambiance. Free and ample parking is another point in favor of this place. The service was good (although our server forgot to remove a returned item from the bill). The 3 pizzas that we ordered were all delicious - even the vegan pizza.

1st time at this place. Pretty impressed by the place. Nicely decorated with a low lights vibe which seem perfect for a date or dinner put with a group of friends. Definitely ni e vibes. We had the pizza which I felt was more like 3.5 considering the pizza places around. With that said, the place, the service and location made it a place that will definitely visit again while in new haven.

Great addition to the New Haven pizza scene. Loved the decor and music. Pizza and beer was on par with the other competitors in town. Service was wonderful and we will definitely be returning soon to try their other specialty beers and pizzas.

Da Legna x Nolo is a great restaurant in the New Haven area. They had a lot of options for pizza and beer. It was flavorful! We visited for a family dinner and all of us enjoyed the food. Service was attentive but not overwhelming. The interior is lovely and feels open!

Dare I say Da Legna is better than Modern???! The vibe inside is cool, kinda retro with the booths and then modern with the tables and bar area. Service is always great. Now as for the pizza - wow. The State is our go to. The cheese is always A1. They serve foxon drinks and the beer list is always updated. It's always a good time at Da Legna! Cheers!

Really good New Haven style pizza. There's lots of specialty toppings to choose from. Nice outside seating area. Mixed drinks were good. It's a family friendly restaurant. Parking on site which is helpful. Service was a little slow.

A hidden gem in New Haven! The Honeypot pizza was absolutely amazing with a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. We visited on a busy weekend afternoon and had to wait a while, but the pizza made it worth it.

Good pizza, some stumbles with meatballs Was in the area for a test drive, and wanted some New Haven pizza. So came here out of all the pizza joints since they were doing thing's differently compared to the classics. Inside is very modern, lots of stone and wood accents. Server was green, but friendly. We got meatballs and a small pizza to share. We went as soon as they opened, and their Alfredo sauce didn't have any Parmesan. It was literally the base white sauce with no flavor. We had to return it because it was just severely lacking. The pizza made up for the meatball failure though. Good thin charred crust with plenty of toppings and strong complimentary flavors. The pizza was slightly underdone by the center, so there was tip sag. But the flavors were good. Price was reasonable, though the server did try to charge us for the meatballs. He was still learning though and he corrected it. Didn't see him talk to the kitchen though to inform them of the issue. It's good pizza at least, and a good representation of the New Haven new school. A good option if you're in the area

Yet another solid pizza joint in New Haven, a city that is known for having delicious pizza. Thankfully I do not live here, or I would have serious health problems from all the arterial blockage because of all the cheesy goodness, like the blood in the streets that run through this town. Good pizza though. It is tasty and thorough and comes out very fast. It is amazing how much I can eat of this and still feel empowered afterwards. Fresh sauce, terrific sauce, and that soot on your hands from the pizza cooking. I looked like I just got out a tire shop with how much was on my hands. But I love it, I dig it. Da Legna gives a solid performance for a solid pie and would recommend it if you need a good New Haven pie. It is also by the train tracks so it is ideal for anybody looking for something to do if you have to wait. Yes, I am talking to you, railfans. Enjoy and partake and dig right in.

It's a great pizza place. They serve delicious cocktails and pizza. This place is very uniquely decorated too. We ended up here for lunch with a group of friends after a mild Hike. I didnt really care for pizza because i really wanted to save my appetite for my craving of steak later on. My friends truly enjoyed their pizza tho. I ordered the arugula salad with aside of grilled chicken and that was amazingly good Definately a place to visit
